Slightly foul color and bitter taste, nontoxic. (Specific gravity; 1.42-1.52.) Easily soluble in ethyl acetone, dilute solution of sodium hydroxide and sodium carbonate. Soluble in ethyl . Not easily soluble in benzene and insoluble in water and gasoline.
