Use acetaminophen/chlorpheniramine Hydrobromide, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions. Take acetaminophen/chlorpheniramine Hydrobromide, Phenylephrine Hydrochloride & Chlorpheniramine Maleate Syrup by mouth. Fill the special dose-measuring spoon or cup with the correct amount of medicine for an adult dose and give every 4 hours as needed. You can also use ordinary household spoons if you don't have a special dose measuring spoon or cup. However, these are not accurate for measuring small doses of liquid medicine. If you do use a household spoon, it should be a metal spoon and not a plastic or wooden one.
