Advanced Technology Oil Cooler

MFE Oil coolers are customized to meet the requirements of customers. These oil coolers are available in two variants i.e. (i) Plain Tube Type and (ii) Plate Fin tube type. Depending on applications & process specifications, oil coolers are designed optimally to give superior performance..

Features :
Shell : Standard ERW pipes or rolled from tested quality steel pipes.

Tubes : Seamless copper 1/2a or 5/8a od tubes are roller expanded into tube sheets at both ends for Plate Fin tube type. Seamless 3/8a od tubes for Plain tube type.

Fins : 36 g thk. made from aluminium with 12 FPI. (Plate fin tube type.)

Tube sheets : SA-285 Grade a Ca or IS 226 or equivalent material.

Water Baffles : Steel baffles placed to suit the design requirements. A zig-zag passage over the bank of tubes provide efficient heat transfer.

Design Pressures : 10 kg/cm2 on shell side and 7 kg/cm2 on Tube side.

Test Pressures : 16 kg/cm2 on shell side (Nitro test) and 10 kg/cm2 on tube side.

Finish : All Oil coolers have a rust-preventive primer finish of red oxide paint.
