Overnight in the hotel. Day 02 Delhi - Patna - by flight After breakfast we will go to Domestic Airport for our flight to Patna, we will reach patna at 1215hrs. after that check- in in the hotel , where we will meet our local guide and then we will start our sight seen and visit Patna museum , Patna Museum, Sonabhandar Cave, Vaibhara Hill, Neminatha, Rsabhanatha at foot of Vaibhara Hill Temple with hot water wells and more. Day 03 Patna - Rajgir Today we will visit Nalanda , Hiuen Tsang Memorial Hall, Surya Mandir, This temple has a number of statues of Hindu and Buddhist deities and visit Rajgir. Day 04 Rajgir -Bodhgaya Today we will visit gaya and Bodhgaya together , our main attraction will be,Vishnupad Temple , Vishnupad Temple is sacred among Hindus and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu The temple is built in Shikhara style and was reconstructed in the year 1787, by Ahilya Bai. Akshayabat : Akhsayabat is situated at Bodh Gaya which is 12 kilometers away from Gaya. The Akshayabat tree is the same tree under which Gautam Sidhartha meditated in search of eternal truth. Akshayabat is situated inside the temple complex and is a major tourist attraction. Barabar Caves : Situated 25 kilometers away from Gaya, Barabar caves are great heritage of Bihar. Numbering four in total these caves go back to the second century BC and were carved during Ashoka period. Mahabodhi Temple :Mahabodhi Temple standing just behind the Mahabodhi Tree where Sidhartha Gautam had attained enlightenment is situated at Bodh Gaya. Mahabodhi Temple stands 170 feet tall and Chatras on the top are symbol of sovereignty of religion. Surya Kund :Surya Kund is a major tourist attraction. It is located on the west side of the famous Vishnupad temple. Devotees believe that a holy dip in the pond gets rid them of their sins. Day 05 Gaya - Varanasi Today we will go to Varanasi and we will start our s/s in the afternoon first we will visit Bharat Kala Bhavan Museum, Mundesvari and in the evening Arti near the ganga river. Day 06 Varanasi / Sarnath / Varanasi Early morning we will visit ghats and after that we will proceed to Sarnath. Sarnath is located at a distance of 8 km from Varanasi, There are several 20th century Buddhsit Temples in Sarnath, constructed and maintained by monks from Tibet, China and Japan and we will see sarnath Museum that exhibits a rich collection of Buddhist sculptures. Day 06 Varanasi - Allahabad Today we drive to Allahabad where we will visit Allahabad Fort ( Built by Akbar in AD 1583), the Allahabad Fort exhibits fine depictions of art, design, architecture, and craftsmanship of the fort. Visitors are allowed to view the Ashoka Pillar, Saraswati Kup and Jodhabai Palace., Archaeological Museum with rich collection of sculptures from Kausambi And visit Sangam, it is actually the confluence of three holy rivers-Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. It becomes a center of attraction for hundreds and thousands of religious travelers after every twelve years when it hosts the famous Kumbh Mela. Day 07 Allahabad - Lucknow Today we drive to Lucknow and visit local market. Day 08 Lucknow Today we have a full day sight seeing with local guide first we visit state museum and then Bara Imambara -built by Asaf-ud-Daula in the year 1784, this magnificent structure is one of the major tourist attractions of Lucknow. It is said that the project was started in order to provide employment to thousands of hapless workers during a great famine. Rumi Darwaza -Built in 1783, this gigantic gate soars top 60 feet, and is one of the famous landmarks of the city. Day 09 Lucknow - Khajuraho Today we have a long drive from lucknow to Khajuraho and it will take nearly 8hrs. we will reach Khajuraho in the evening and take a rest in the hotel. Day 10 Khajuraho Today we will visit old temples in Khajuraho and they are: Western group of temples: Sculptures on these temples are the biggest of all tourist attractions in Khajuraho. The temples of this group cluster near the left of the entrance. The Kandariya Mahadeo temples are the largest and architecturally most perfect. Here lie the ruins of Chausath Yogini Temple, which is believed to the oldest in Khajuraho. Matangeshwar Temple features a huge Yoni pierced by a 2.5mtrs Lingam. This is the only temple, which is still worshipped. Eastern group of temples :These temples stand on the bank of the river Khajur. Javari Temple, Vamana Temple, Brahma and Hanuman Temple are the notable ones. Jain group of temples :The Jain groups of temples are also referred as Southern group of temples as they lie on the southeast side of the old village. Parsvanath Temple is the most reputed of all of them. Day 11 Khajuraho - Orchha Today we drive to Orchha and visit Raja Ram Mandir, royal cenotaphs, Jehangir Mahal and Chaturbhuj Temple. Day 12 Orchha - Chanderi - Orchha Today we visit to chanderi ,In the 11th century, Chanderi was a strategically important place. It was an important military outpost and also lay in the main trade route. Chanderi Fort : This fort is regarded as the most important Tourist Attraction of Chanderi . It dates back to the Mughal Period and stands tall on top of a hill. Koshak Mahal :This Mahal was built by Mahmud Khilji of Malwa in 1445 A.D. The palace is divided into four equal parts and is reflective of very good architectural skills. Parameshwar Tal :This is a tank built by the Bundela Rajput kings. On the bank of this beautiful tank there is a temple and the cenotaphs of three Rajput kings. Buddhi (Old) Chanderi : The old Chanderi city is referred to as Buddhi. This place is visited by a large number of Jains each year because of the presence of a large number of Jain temples belonging to the 9th and 10th century. Day 13 Orchha - Shivpuri Drive to Shivpuri, Shivpuri is famous for graceful,intricately embellishedMarble chhatries (cenotaphs) erected by Scindia Princes. Set in an elaborate Mughal Garden, are the cenotaphs, the royal Chhatries dedicated to Scandia's. Madhav Vilas Palace : The summer palace of the Scandia's, Madhav Vilas Palace, looks intensely alluring, dressed in soft shade of rose-pink.The MAHAL as it is popularly known, is attired with marble floors,elegant terraces and a Ganapati Mandap. Day 14 Shivpuri Today we visit Shivpuri National Park with Nature Guide and in the afternoon leisure. Day 15 Shivpuri - Gwalior Today we drive to Gwalior, On the way we will visit Pawaya and in Gwalior we will visit Telika Mandir , Sas-Bahu Temple, Jaina Caves. Day 16 Gwalior Today we visit Padmavalior and its 50 Km from Gwalior and in the afternoon we visit 2 museums Gurjar-Mahal State Museum. Day 17 Gwalior - Bhopal (by train) Today we will go Bhopal by train, we will reach in Bhopal late Afternoon. Day 18 Bhopal / Sanchi / Bhopal Today we will visit Sanchi, which is 48 km from Bhopal, and we will see caves no. 4 and 19, shrine 17, stupa 1, 2 (older reliefs 2nd ct, before Christ), Tirthamkaras, Udayagiri cave 1, 6, 7. Day 19 Bhopal After Breakfast we will visit local market and Museum. Day 20 Bhopal In the Morning Delhi by flight and in the afternoon leisure. Day 21 Delhi Departure Morning Departure to Airport for onwards destination.
