Whether you use point-and-shoot, digital, or single-lens reflex (SLR) cameras, there's a bag for every camera. Ask yourself: how much camera gear will I use, and where will it go?

A basic bag should carry your camera and a few rolls of film, extra batteries, a mini-tripod and lens-cleaning tissues or cloth. For a point-and-shoot camera, you don't need much more. A belt pouch large enough for a camera, spare film, and batteries will do. For convenience and anonymity, a simple insulated lunch tote (about $8) works fine.
