Ethambutol Hcl Grade: Industrial Grade

Ethambutol Hcl is an antibiotic which is used for the treatment of tuberculosis. It is generally prescribed in the combination with isoniazid, rifampicin, or pyrazinamide. This medicine is consumed orally and also found to be effective against Mycobacterium avium complex & Mycobacterium kansasii. It works by attaching to the cell wall and forming mycolyl-arabinogalactan-peptidoglycan complex. This medicine inhibits arabinosyl transferase resulting in the disruption of arabinogalactan synthesis.
