Gap Reflex Sensor

Small, Easy, Accurate Fifea s very small SE-15 medium gap reflex sensor is ideal for edge guiding opaque, transparent, or reflective materials. Because of its compact size, light weight, and insensitivity to ambient light/reflections, it is ideal for many web guiding applications where exact guiding is required and space is limited. The SE-15 uses a co-axis optical visible red light for the transmitted and received light beams.
Part of the transmitted light hits the edge of the strip/web, the rest of the light is reflected back from the reflector installed below the strip or web. The reflected light signal is processed to filter out ambient and reflected light to accurately determine the position of the strip or web edge.
