Procedure:
The staff handling garbage must use rubber gloves & masks
The garbage bins in public areas are emptied of its bag when A full
The garbage bag is tied up & transferred to the garbage-collecting unit carefully without any spillage
At shift end the garbage from every floor is transported by designated trolley to garbage collection area on ground floor
The bags to be kept as per color-coding in the correct room
The garbage movement to be done through designated staircase/lift at the end of every shift, timings - 3 pm and 10 pm
The housekeeping staff ensure that there is no spillage or leakage and also the bags are tied while brining them down
The bags are checked for a cut or tear so as to ensure that double bagging is done before moving it from sluice room
Proper maintenance to be checked and informed to the concern department for discrepancies and also require continuous follow-ups till the time it is sorted out.
