Clarifier mechanism is an equipment used for clarification of effluent as primary treatment (after flocculation) or as secondary treatment (after aeration). It is usually installed in a circular tank. It consists of a central shaft connected to a gearbox-motor on one side and a rake mechanism on the other side. The clearance of the tank bottom with the rake mechanism is such that all the sludge is pushed towards the sludge sump at the centre. The motor for the mechanism is mounted on a bridge. The clarifier mechanism could be centrally driven or peripherally driven as required. We have our in-house workshop where we manufacture mechanisms of up to 40 m Diameter.
