Heavy Duty Freight Elevator

A Heavy Duty Freight Lift, or goods lift, is an elevator designed to convey goods and heavy loads in between floors of an industrial or commercial building rather than passengers. Freight elevators are typically larger and capable of carrying heavier loads than a passenger elevator, from 500 to 10,000 kg. Freight elevators have manually operated doors normally, and often have rugged interior finishes to prevent damage while loading and unloading. Electric elevators are more energy efficient for the work of freight lifting. It designed to carry goods, rather than passengers. Freight elevators are generally required to display a written notice in the car that the use by passengers is prohibited.
