Hydraulic Rotating Cylinders

GMT Hydraulic Rotating Cylinders (CH/CH-S) are designed to actuate the work-holding devices. These are dynamically balanced to rotate at high speeds and work at maximum pressure of 40 Kgf/cm2. Pneumatic Rotating Cylinder is designed to actuate the work-holding devices. The Cylinder works at maximum pressure of 10 Kgf/cm2. The cylinder is mounted on the rear side of the spindle. Compressed air under pressure is fed on to a piston through a stationary distributor. The piston moves the draw bar, or the rod attached to it, axially. This axial movement can be utilized for operating the chuck or the fixtures.The body of the GMT pneumatic cylinder is made of aluminium alloy of high quality, is light, and is specially treated to take work at high operating pressures.For sizes 200mm & 250mm,the body is made from medium carbon steel & suitably heat treated.The piston is made from medium carbon steel & suitably heat treated..GMT offers on request on request hydraulic rotating cylinders with safety non return valve,which maintains the clamping pressure in the event of an emergency caused by loss of hydraulic pressure or failure of hydraulic hose.GMT provides on request , a stroke control unit with hydraulic cylinder.This will help to monitor the stroke of the cylinder. The body of GMT hydraulic cylinder of sizes 80mm to 160mm is made of aluminium alloy of high quality & is specially treated to work at high operating pressures.
