Industrial Tetrachloroethylene is a clear colorless volatile liquid having an enther-like odor. Noncombustible. Insoluble in water. Vapors heavier than air.
Density approximately 13.5lb/gal low solubility in water, 150mg L-1 at 25 C soluble in ethanol. Benzene, acetone, hexane, chloroform and other chloroform and other chlorinated and other chlorinated organic solvents.

Usage:
Tetrachloroethylene can be used as dry cleaning solvent, a drying agent for metals, and in the manufacture of other chemicals.
