Kemphos-338 is a low foaming mild alkaline powder formulated to activate metal surfaces to improve subsequent coatings. It has also the removing light oils and grease on the surface. Testing and Control ProcedureKemphos-338 bath strength can be easily controlled by determination of pH value of the bath solution directly. Chemical ReplenishmentRestore the bath to the working level by adding water to makeup evaporation loss and drag out losses. Chdck the Kemphos-338 solution pH. Add 100 gm Kemphos-338 powder per 100 ltr. Bath to increase pH by one unit. Safety MeasuresKemphos-338 is an alkaline material. Direct contact causes irritation of skin, wash thoroughly, do not take it internally.
