Laboratory Beating

This instrument is used for laboratory beating of pulp under standardized conditions to determine the behavior of pulp when subject to definite beating schedule. This beater is suitable for routine checking of pulp in laboratory

Net volume 25 liters of 680 g bone-dry pulp at 2-2.5% concentration

An amount of the pulp corresponding to 360 gram of OD fiber is taken in a tub is filled with 18 liter water and maintain the temperature as per specified. The lever is released to engaged bed plate and beater roll to beaten. The beaten pulp is a standard specimen for the testing of the physical properties of pulp
