NF505 is a Proderma nickel-free, palladium-based master alloy for 585-750i? (14-18 Kt) white gold jewelry, designed as an all-purpose formulation.

NF505 is suitable for lost-wax casting in closed systems. The alloy can also be used for continuous casting and for ingot casting of semi-finished items such as sheet.

Differently from standard palladium-based formulations, NF505 allows complex processing such as continuous casting and mechanical working, thanks to its relatively low casting temperature and its high mechanical resistance.

The color of 585i? and 750i? gold made using NF505 shows an off-white color grade (Yellow index: 31.8 in 750i? and 29 in 585i? ). It is mandatory to proceed with rhodium plating deposition on surface in order to ensure maximum whiteness on the final jewel.

NF505 has a minimum level of deoxidizers; this makes it suitable for casting in closed systems.
