This drug works by multiplying the strength and of contractions and the stiffness of the uterus muscles. It helps in reducing bleeding. It works by initiating the muscle of the uterus to contract. This drug directly stimulates the uterine muscle to boost force and frequency of contractions. It is also used for the prevention and control of postpartum hemorrhage.
