Methylene Blue Grade: Industrial Grade

Methylene Blue is used as both a dye and a medicine. It is prescribed for the treatment of methemoglobinemia having chemical formula C16H18ClN3S and molar mass of 319.85 g/mol. This medicine is also utilized as an analgesic for the treatment of urinary tract infections. As a dye, it finds its application for endoscopic polypectomy, chromoendoscopy, Gram staining, and AFB staining procedures. It also serves as standardized Giemsa stain.
