Mineral Investigations & Mine Planning


Detailed geological investigations comprising topographical surveys,
geological and structural mapping, pitting and trenching, core-drilling,
chemical analysis, reserve estimations, mining and environmental
management planning for IBM as well as for MOEF form one of the main
activities of the HCPL. Many detailed investigations have been carried out
for limestone deposits for large size Portland cement and for white cement
plants. The HCPL has fleet of six heavy duty hydraulic core drilling rigs
and has carried out core drilling of over 20,000 meters all over the
country.




Some of the important detailed investigations, consisting of topographical
surveys, geological mapping, core-drilling and reserves estimations etc.
carried out by HCPL are indicated as under:
