Cotton Orthopaedic Cast Stockinette

Orthopaedic Cast Stockinette is the first layer applied during cast application. This layer helps to wick sweat from the body. Cast padding is rolled over top the cast stockinette, followed by fiberglass or plaster casting tape. It is quite useful under bracing products such as a cam walker or knee brace to keep the brace from coming in contact with sweat, keeping it clean and sanitary. Cotton Ribbed Stockinette is an inexpensive and convenient form of covering and protection for the skin.
