Fenton Chemicals has developed an Acid Thickener viz. FX AT especially used in the formulation of Toilet Cleaners.
The Cationic Ethoxylated Amines thickens the Hydrochloric Acid very effectively . By varying the dosage of FX AT , viscosity of Toilet Cleaner can be adjusted to given specifications. It gives long term viscocity
stability and 90% Corrosion Inhibition in HClAcid . We recommend dosage level of 2 to 3 % by weight .

Procedure -
1. Take 70 kg Water in a container.
2. Add 2.5 kg Acid Thickener in water and mix it well manually or with stirrer.
3. Now slowly add 28 kg Hydrochloric Acid ( 33% Pure ) in the above mixture.
4. You can add any Acid stable color as per your requirement in the first stage directly in water.
