Following immersion of specimens in a chloride solution in the laboratory, e.g., according to NT Build 443 Concrete, Hardened: Accelerated Chloride PenetrationAcA A or ASTM C1556 Test Method for Determining the Apparent Chloride Diffusion Coefficient of Cementitious Mixtures by Bulk Diffusion, or
On-site on structures that have been subjected to chloride ion ingress.
