Rock Triaxial Test Apparatus

The GCTS Rock Triaxial Testing Systems (RTX Series) include many different designs to meet customer specifications for load capacity, frame stiffness, confining and pore pressure capacity, and specimen diameter. All systems feature adjustable crossheads and meet all specifications set by the International Society of Rock Mechanics (ISRM).
These systems are ideal for performing static or dynamic triaxial compression tests on cylindrical rock specimens. The axial actuator and confining pressure are servo-controlled and advanced software developed by GCTS allows for complete computer control of all testing procedures. As a result, extremely accurate results are generated while user errors and learning time are minimized, ultimately increasing productivity.
