It is better than gravity operated Double Flap Valve as it gives continuous discharge and has a better air tightness. While discharging dust, the valve prevents gas leakage through the inlet opening. This valve consists of a fabricated housing that is provided with a rotor and a shaft. The fins of the rotor are welded to the shaft. and fins are fitted with removable non metallic strip. The volume of rotor is determined by the empty space between the two fins. On each rotation, dust that is held in the pocket is discharged. And depending on the applications, material of constructions are decided whether mild steel fabrication should be used or stainless steel.
