REQUIREMENTS FOR EXPORTING TO SAUDI ARABIA The Recognition Program on Certificates of Conformity states that all consignments of products exported to Saudi Arabia must meet the requirements of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO). SASO requires all consignments exported to the country to be accompanied by a CoC, issued by an authorized inspection and certification body. A CoC confirms that goods comply with applicable standards and technical regulations and is mandatory for clearance. Consignments that do not have a CoC or that fail to meet the requirements of the program will be rejected at the destination.
