Features:
Compared to the traditional submersible or surface AC pumps we have a range of DC pumps (pl. refer the catalogues) which uses permanent magnet, DC brushless motors, which improve efficiency by 25%. This allows the pump to be directly driven by sunlight (Solar Panel Controlled output) or battery.
e.g. Driving 1 HP / DC pumps has following plus points-
a) Solar-panel array needed of 1KW approximately
b) No need of costly Inverter, hence system is reliable
c) No system-loss & very economical
d) Battery-bank required is very small compared to conventional AC pump.
