We are involved in providing our customers Thermodynamic Steam Trap which is designed with a simple mode of operation. The trap operates by means of dynamic effect of flash steam as it passes through the trap. The only moving part is the disc, above the flat face inside the cap or control chamber.

On start up the incoming steam pressure lifts the disc and condensates & air is immediately discharged from the inner ring under the disc and is drain out. Hot condensate flowing through the inlet passage into the chamber under the disc, drops in pressure and release flash steam at very high velocity. The high velocity of condensate creates a pressure drop below the disc. At the same time flash steam pressure builds up above the disc in the chamber forcing in downward position.
