Mobile mapping is an advanced technology using a vehicle fitted with high accuracy sensors to measure road parameters and collect Right of Way images. Road parameters such as IRI (International Road Index), texture, road geometry such as gradient, cross-fall can be measured in a single pass. The images are analyzed for identifying road assets such as signs, guard rails, bus shelters etc. The pavement images are analyzed for road distress such as cracks, patches, pot holes to generate maintenance plans. DCIL has experience in analyzing various client collected data and have worked for various standards such as UKPMS accreditation standards, MicroPAVER standards, HDM-4 standards, distress identification using ASTM D6433 standard. We have experience in identifying road sign features adhering to the MUTCD standards.
