Indications :
> Benign prostatic hyperlasia
> Lower urinary tract symptoms
> Non - neurogenic voiding dysfunction
> Non - bacterial prostatitis.

Composition :
> An I 1a - selective alpha blocker used in the symptomatic tratment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)
> Blocks the effects of adrenalin on the muscle cells and causes the muscles to relax and thus results in a decrase in obstruction to the flow of urine.
> Causes fewer side effects , especially low blood pressuer, compared with other alpha adreergic blocking drugs.
> Benificial in terms of the reduced number of ureteral colic episodes and the severity of pain in the patients.
> Better than placebo at improving international prostate symptom score (IPSS)and improved quality of life.
