Motoman's EA1440N robot is specifically designed to maximize performance for arc welding. Fast, Streamlined, and Powerful Motoman's high-performance, six-axis EA1400N "Expert Arc" welding robot features a patented internal cabling design that streamlines the robot profile and increase cable life by reducing wear and eliminating cable "flip," Eliminating time as well as cycle time by minimizing the motion required for torch orientation. The EA1440N features a 1390 mm (54.7") horizontal reach and a 2.427 mm (95.6") vertical reach. The robot's B-axis features an expanded range of motion which improves circumferential welding on cylindrical workpieces. The T-axis can rotate the torch +-200 degrees without cable interference. The EA1400N's hollow upper arm maintains the optimum bend radius of weld performance and extending cable life. Regardless of torch orientation or part size or shape, the EA1400N robot prevents bend, pinched or stretched cables, minimizing wire feed problems and optimizing weld performance. The standard EA1400N is floor mounted, but a ceiling or wall mounted version (EA 1400TN) is available for layout flexibility.
