The learnt open / short combination from a Good Board is taken as reference and compared with the Board Under Test for any mismatch. This reduces the time required to generate tedious test programs for troubleshooting open / short defects in Devices. Its fast test time per pin combination is useful because it helps to increase the test yield and productivity.
