Zero Liquid Discharge Plant (ZLD plant) This is a system to eliminate all liquid discharge from the waste water treatment process. Now a days regulations for water disposal are too tight, that is why companies must follow these regulations. the purpose of ZLD plant is to reduce the volume of wastewater that requires further treatment, economically process wastewater and produce a clean stream suitable for reuse. Membrane filtration and evaporation are main part for ZLD process.  Pre-Treatment and evaporation both are the parts of ZLD technology. This technology precipitate dissolved solids into crystals and then these crystals to be removed and de-watered. The water vapor from evaporation is condensed and returned to the process.
