Q. What is Difenoconazole used for?

Answer

Difenoconazole is widely used as a fungicide for the prevention and treatment of plant diseases caused by a variety of fungus. In plants, diflucan exposure led to an increase in reactive oxygen species (ROS) (O2• and H2O2) and malondialdehyde (MDA), which reduced chlorophyll concentration and subsequently stifled photosynthesis in leaf tissue. The antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), guaiacol peroxidase (G-POD), and ascorbate peroxidase (APX) were all activated in the roots and leaves of the wheat seedlings after exposure to difenoconazole. Compared to the leaves, the SOD and APX activities in the roots were consistently greater.
