Q. What is the difference between stainless steel and duplex steel tubes?

Duplex steel has higher chromium (Cr) content up to 25%, while stainless steel has lower Cr content i.e., only 11%. Due to difference in their chemical compositions, duplex steel has twice the yield strength and corrosion resistance than stainless steel (SS).
