Duplex steel ring is far better than stainless steel ring because of their metallurgical composition that differentiate them on the basis of precious characteristics (rust, weather resistant, etc). Duplex steel ring has higher content of chromium (19–32%), molybdenum (up to 5%), low nickle content ( up to 9%) and nitrogen (0.05 – 0.5%), whereas stainless steel contain at least 11% chromium and 1.2% carbon.
