Mixed xylene is inflammable and releases acute toxicity. It carries a dire effect when it is inhaled in a vapour for that increases depression of the central nervous system (CNS) and results in symptoms such as dizziness, headache, nausea and vomiting. A higher dose of vapour can develop the intensity of all these symptoms.
