The Clamshell Laminator is a basic, hand-operated machine for laminating a variety of test materials. An operator physically places the laminating materials on the top and bottom vacuum jig platens, then closes them together for quick and accurate lamination. Low-cost and no-hassle.Accurate laminating requires precise alignment fixtures. It's possible to make it fit a variety of materials (s). There is almost no setup or maintenance required. All operations are carried out solely by air (LSC-100 excluded). It's great for any work situation because it's small, light, and quiet. To ensure perfect adhesion to the plastic support backing, each material is fed from adjustable spindles through guides and beneath a pressure capstan roller. The final laminated product travels by the conveyor to be cut into individual cards for additional processing on other devices.
