While upgrading the specifications, HM203G has undergone major engineering and layout changes. The result is modular construction inside. The entire circuitry is neatly placed on two-glass epoxy PC boards with legend printing of part numbers for easy identification. PCB and Transformer interconnections are through detachable cables. The push button and rotary switches are mounted directly on PCB. The HM203G is now better engineered for quick servicing. All the previous high-grade specifications like 1mV sensitivity, 40MHz trigger bandwidth, matched X-Y operation, Z-modulation, line trigger etc. are fully retained. Ergonomically placed controls for ease of operation, upgraded engineering and specifications of the new Scientific HM 203G add to its utility for education and training, measurement and testing, production and service.
