I will not return this because I have a use for it and I can't be bothered ... but this isn't KAPOK. It's cotton. The description is so confusing ... reviewing this as kapok I rate this 0 stars because it isn't. I will rate the seller 1 star because cotton is mentioned in the description ... even then, is it from Texas? Is it from India? We don't know. It makes me wonder ... is it even organic? The confusing description and the misleading title make this seller untrust, I ordered this to fill some decorative pillows shams that I also bought on Amazon. I used 1 pound per 18x18 pillow, but I like the pillows really puffed up. If you really worked and fluffed the cotton you could probably get away with using less. Overall very happy with my purchase.
