Application: Steel for plastic moulds with a thickness of about 500mm plus with a good uniform hardness, Elevated toughness and polishability. Moulds for TV housings and rear walls, copier housings, Shockabsorber moulds for dashboards and large outside body parts, waste bin moulds.

Characteristics: Uniform hardness and only have 2HRC difference across section in 700mmthickness. Good machinability and suitable for chrome plating and nitridable.
