What is Bydureon BCise?
Bydureon BCise contains the prescription medicine exenatide, used to help control blood sugar levels in diabetes. Exenatide reduces inappropriately high levels of secretion of glucagon, increases insulin release from pancreatic beta-cells when blood glucose levels are high, and slows the time it takes for food to empty from the stomach. This combined action enables exenatide to help control blood glucose levels.
