It has a higher thermal stability and lower water solubility than crystal phase I Ammonium Polyphosphate. TY-423 is an environmentally friendly halogen free flame retardant, which develops its effectiveness through phosphorus / nitrogen synergism and also can be compatible with other polymers. It is usually used with charring agent and foaming agent to protect the polymer through its heat-insulating effect.

Applications:
TY-423 can be used with charring agent and foaming agent in the processing of the fire retardant treatment of PE/PP/PU materials, oxygen molecules material or high-grade intumescent fireproof materials ,which can provide good flame retardant efficiency .
