Amprolium Hcl 20% W.s.p For Veterinary And Poultry Use Only

Properties:
Amprolium acts on first generation schizonts thereby preventing differentiation of merozoites
Amprolium is structurally similar to thiamin (vitamin B1) and is a competitive antagonist of thiamine transport mechanisms.
Indications
Treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in chickens caused by Eimeria tenella , Eimeria necatrix, Eimeria brunette, Eimeria maxima , and Eimeria mitis
Treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in turkeys caused by Eimeria meleagrimitis and Eimeria gallopavonis .
Treatment and prevention of coccidiosis in cattle caused by Eimeria zuernii and Eimeria bovis

Dosage instructions
Chickens & Turkeys:
The drug is given according to the following schedule:
30 gm (of Amprolium 20% w.s.p) / 25 lit. drinking water for 5 a 7 days (usual outbreak)
30 gm (of Amprolium 20% w.s.p) / 50 lit. drinking water for 5 a 7 days (mild outbreak)
30 gm (of Amprolium 20% w.s.p) / 100 lit. drinking water for 7 a 14 days (prevention of re-infection)
Cattle:
50 mg (of Amprolium 20% w.s.p) / kg B.wt. for 5 days
Warnings & Precautions
The medicated water should be used within 24 hours

Contra Indications
Not to be given with thiamin and folic acid.
Dona t use in calves to be processed for veal
Dona t use in laying age onward.

Storage condition
Store at temperature not exceeding 30A C in a dry place and used after opening for 50 days at temperature not exceeding 30A C in a dry place and used immediately after reconstitution.
