Bar Coaters

Bar Coaters have been used for many years in laboratory for testing surface coating materials like ink, adhesives, emulsion and dry band, paints, hot melts coatings, waxes, resins, glues, nails varnishes etc. These coating rods lay down a definite predetermined metered coating in a matter of seconds. These are corrosion resistant because of stainless steel inputs and for the same reason, these are easy to clean and durable.
For easy identification, Bar Coaters are numbered and fitted with different colored handles. On many substrates, draw downs may be made like test charts, plastic films, aluminum foils, asbestos sheet, steel plates, paper & paper board etc. Also draw down of two or more products give quick comparison of various properties like shade, opacity, adhesives, flexibility, heat and light fastness etc.
