Product Composition:
Each ml. contains:
Sulphadimidine Sodium I.P. 333 mg.

Product Indications:
Sulphadimidine is recommended for the treatment of systemic and enteric infections in domestic animals due to sulphadimidine sensitive organisms. It is indicated in the treatment of Haemorrhagic septicaemia, Foot rot Bronchopneumonia, Calf diphtheria, Calf Diarrhoea, Bacterial enteritis and Actinobacillosis. It is indicated as a supportive therapy in metritis and mastitis of adult cattle and in coccidiosis of calves.

Administration:

The injection should be administered by intravenous or subcutaneous routes.

Product Dosage :
30 ml per 50.0 kg body weight initial dose.
15 ml per 50.0 kg body weight on subsequent days over a period of 4 to 6 days.

Contraindications:
Sensitivity to sulfa compounds, renal infections, the period of treatment must not exceed than 10 day except in dangerous cases.

Presentation:
SULPHADIMIDINE is available in multidose vials of 100 ml.

Precaution:
There could be crystals found in the product due to lower temperature. These crystals can be dissolved by warming up the solution. It is advisable to warm up the solution to body temperature before administering it.
