Bio Polishing Enzymes An enzymatic treatment given to the Cotton and other natural fibres based on cellulose for smoother and glossier appearance is known as BioA A Polishing. The treatment is used to remove 'fuzz' - the tiny strands of fibre that protrude from the surface of yarn. A ball of fuzz is also known as 'pill'. After Bio-Polishing, the fuzz and pilling are reduced. Benefits of removing fuzz are a softer and smoother handling and superior color brightness. PacZyme offers a range of cellulases for bio-polishing. Efficent for different types of fibre, fabric type and equipments. PAC-PolZyme-AC-L (Acid Biopolishing Enzyme)PAC-PolZyme-NC-L (Neutral Biopolishing Enzyme)PAC-PolZyme-AC-L /NC-L are the products for Biopolishing of Cotton Knits and Wovens in Soft Flow and Wash Wheel process. PAC-PolZyme-AC-L /NC-L are used for biopolishing of cellulosic fabric under acidic / neutral conditions. It partially digests excess and protruding yarns, loosening them from the fabric. The resulting fuzz is then easily removed by mechanical agitation of the fabric. This not only creates a smoother fabric with resistance to pilling, but also improves softness, luster and drape. Why to use PAC-PolZyme-AC-L /NC-L? Specific action on protruding fibers only.Improves texture, softness and appearance of fabric.Wide variety of application processes.Eco-friendly & Biodegradable. Characteristics & Processing Parameters: Form Liquid Color Light Brown translucent Operative pH range 4.0 - 5.5 (Acid Cellulase) / 5.5 - 7.5 (Neutral Cellulase) Operative Temperature range 40A A C Aca a 60A A C Solubility Soluble in water Dosage: The dosage can be optimized on basis of trials only and depends upon nature of fabric, type of process, processing conditions and desired level of performance efficacy. The recommended dosages however are 0.5 Aca a 2 % (owg) (Operation liquor ratio should be 3:1 to 20:1). Compatibility: It is recommended to test compatibility of PAC-PolZyme-AC-L /NC-L with ingredients like wetting agents etc. prior to its use and its applications. Processing Time: Dependent of the fabric and process types. (Operational range- 25 to 60 min.) Inactivation: The cellulase enzyme must be inactivated after the desired washed effect is obtained. The enzyme can be inactivated by holding the bath at pH > 9.0 and Temperature > 68A A C for 15 minutes. Packing: It is available in 25 KG & 50 KG HDPE Drums. Storage: Cool & dry conditions are recommended. Extended storage or adverse conditions may lead to higher dosage requirement. Shelf Life: It can be stored in closed container up to six months at 25A A C or for one year at 5A A C, the enzyme activity is not less than 90% of the labeled value. Safety: Enzyme preparation belongs to protein, which may induce sensitization and or cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Prolonged contact may cause minor irritation for skin, eyes or mucous membrane of nose, so any direct contact with the human body should be avoided. If irritation or allergic response for skin or eyes develops, consult a doctor. MSDS is available on request.
