Cardamom, an Indian agriculture produce, is indigenous to the evergreen forest cultivated lands in South India. Cardamom is considered from time immemorial as the Queen of Spices. It enjoys a unique position in the international spices market, as one of the most sought after spices for which Medieval European tradesmen found alternate sea route to trade with India as trade through ancient sea-land routes faced trouble of pirates, thieves and apart from added extra middleman costs.

Uses :
Cardamom is used for flavouring various food preparations, confectionery, beverages and liquors. It is also used for medicinal purpose, both in Alopathy Ayurveda and Homeopathy therapies. In Middle East, it is mainly used for preparation of 'Gahwa' or a Kahwaa cardamom flavoured coffee.
