Our Chlorhexidine Gauze Dressing B.P. Sterile is non-adherent, anti-septic tulle gauze dressing impregnated with chlorhexidine acetate 0.5% of best quality and supplied all over the world. It is sterilized, non-adherent, non-allergenic so that the adherence of the product to the surface of a granulation wound can be reduced. Chlorhexedine Gauze Dressing B.P. Consists of fabric of Leno weave of cotton, which has been impregnated with white soft paraffin. It is also available in packing coated with Chlorhexedine 0.5% w/w.

This Gauze Dressing is used as for effective treatment for burns, skin graft, bed sores and other major injuries where skin has been damaged partially or fully. Chlorhexedine is an antimicrobial agent that is effective against a wide range of gram positive and gram-negative bacteria.

The Gauze has interlocking threads which minimize fraying when the dressing is cut to shape. Chlorhexidine Gauze Dressing inhibits mycobacteria and also inhibits some viruses and is active against some fungi.
