Coloured Glasses

We are manufacturing and supplying huge range of Coloured Glasses from Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Semiconductor doped nanocrystalline glasses are of high technical importance due to their optical nonlinearity. Low cost and easy manufacture-ability are the technological advantages of this material over the other nonlinear optical materials. Significant variation in absorption coefficient and refractive index has been observed in these nanocomposites with respect to the wavelength. Optical filters, wave-guides, switching devices etc are the prominent applications off these glasses. C-MET has developed technologies for processing of wavelength specific optical cut-off filters (from yellow to red) through a nanocomposite technology. Process capability exists in C-MET to produce glasses of different sizes up to 120 mm diameter and 10 mm thickness with adequate optical quality. These glasses contains the nanocrystals of semiconductors from 2-8nm embedded in the glass matrix.
