Files teeth are cut with unique, automised, hydro-pneumatically-controlled cutting machines forming equally spaced teeth and uniform depth of cut to ensure consistent cutting quality and desired surface finish. Uniform, well-spherodized steel structure and required carbon rich surface produces uniform hard tooth for longer life.

The shape and size of the work piece, the material it is made of and the desired surface finish will have to be considered for selecting the right file.

HOW TO SELECT THE RIGHT FILE ?

Machinist Files : For Stock removal and surface finish on machined
components.
Saw Files : For Sharpening wood working saws and similar thin edges
such as shaft cutters, blade match lets.
Rasp Files : Used on wood - by pattern / cabinet maters, leather and
similar soft materials for rapid stock removal.
Special Files : Designed and used for specific application / materials.
Mill Files : Used for rapid stock removal from any large surface and
soft metals.

FILE CUTS:
Single Cut : Mostly all saw files are single cut and are used for sharpening and edging application e.g. sharpening of saws where the work piece is hard,point of contact is less and finish is required.
