Domperidone + Esomeprazole is a medication that combines the effects of two drugs: Domperidone and Esomeprazole. Domperidone is a prokinetic that works on the upper digestive tract to accelerate stomach and intestinal movement, allowing food to pass through the stomach more readily. Esomeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that helps to relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn by lowering the amount of acid in the stomach. Erosive esophagitis is treated with: Adults should take 20 to 40 milligrams (mg) once a day for 4 to 8 weeks. If necessary, your doctor may change your dose. Your doctor may prescribe 20 mg once a day for up to 6 months to prevent erosive esophagitis from returning.
